In 2013, Longmont, Colorado’s Twin Peaks Mall was a 650,000 square foot concrete dinosaur past the point of extinction. Opened in 1985, the indoor mall was notorious for being featured on the website deadmalls.com. Having withered away to a devastating 90% vacancy level, revitalization of this once dominant destination was all but hopeless.
NewMark Merrill Companies had other ideas, however. With the addition of Whole Foods, Regal Cinemas, Gold’s Gym and Sam’s Club, Village at the Peaks transformed and revitalized the retail corridor creating the daily visit and entertainment heart of the Longmont community.
